It just so happens that today, the 9th of March, 2024, is the day that he will be creating the "ABOUT" section on his website. Though it was twenty-nine years ago he was given life, it is only today he will be given a name!

My name is HONEY BOY.

I am 30 years old. I am an ARTIST, a LOSER, a LOVER, a PRETENTIOUS ASSHOLE, and VERY POLARIZING depending on whom you ask. I was cursed with SATYRIASIS and have always had a big interest in all things SEXUAL, PSYCHOLOGICAL, and PHILOSOPHICAL. I love to draw SIMPLE and CUTE DRAWINGS and give them out to ANYONE, because I'm a big big believer that HUMANS don't spend enough time CREATING. I spend a lot of time DOCUMENTING my HUMAN EXPERIENCE because I like to think it KEEPS ME REAL. I have a strong DISLIKE for PROFESSIONALISM because I think that it is FUCKIN' CRINGE.

Conceptual Manifesto?:

Lately I've been stuck on what I see as mostly being a very commercialized and corporate owned Internet. It's not what I'm happy to be living in but I am always someone who believes you have to make the best out of the situation you're given. We cannot return to the "old ways" as the "old ways" are a bit subjective to begin with honestly. Neocities is an attempt to take back that part of the Internet and make it yours again, make it personally owned. ((Well- PERSONALLY OWNED as it can be considering Neocities is still technically in control of your site)) But you get what I mean. Or maybe you don't, not my problem, I cannot control you.

A lot of this site is experimental. I really love pushing the boundaries of what art means, and, what can be considered an artwork or a medium to which you make art with! ALMOST all of my art is about myself- I really highly value introspection and the ability to under the Self. It's what I've always been most interested in studying. Afterall the person I'll be with most in my life is myself so I better get to know them very very well.

So going forward with that- most of this site is like a Self Portrait in that regards. If Neocities is the ability to have a personal piece of the internet.. then websites like Internet Archive is similar to the collective unconcious of the human mind over the years. Wikipedia is like a God-head figure in that it is called upon for "TRUE KNOWLEDGE" over something.. yet it can be changed and altered, much like people's interpretations to religion. gOD REAL QUICK- I feel like this comes out sounding like some crazy nonsense but I'm this deep into the waters I swim in. I'll come up for air, no worries.

If Neocities is the space that I digitally live in, then my website is me. It is ever changing, growing, dying, moving.
